This will be where you write your journal entries! We have a total of 5 pieces of journal writing (I call these 'official entries') to complete this term, but other than these 5 which *everyone* has to submit, you can also use this space to write about anything under the sun!
As the entries on this blog constitute part of the coursework, there are some guidelines which I would like you to keep to:
- Use proper English as far as possible. I can overlook minor grammatical errors, but I do not wish to see sms language or Singlish, eg. Y e cher lik dat one? Oh, and needless to say, no, absolutely no vulgarities!
- Respect one another's viewpoints. If you don't agree with what another person wrote, politely challenge his/her view by posting a comment or another entry. Do not engage in cyberwar.
- As all of us have access to the blog entries, I appeal to you to have integrity and not tamper with your friends' posts in any way.
- For official entries, a deadline will be given. Please submit your entries before the deadline or face disciplinary action.
- Use this title for all your official entries:
- Journal Writing (no.) - (full name)
- eg. Journal Writing 1 - Katie Goh
Hope you will enjoy this way of journal writing. Your first topic is coming up! Happy blogging!
Love,
Ms Goh
