Journal Writing 1 - Ng Wei Lin

Lending something to your friend like money, what most people would ask from you is a big headache. Saying no may ends your friendship with him/her. Yeah. This is what most people afraid of. You would think that, if I refuse to lend him/her money, I would lose this friend who I always hang out with, tell him/her my secret, spent happy, wonderful times together, and I will be a loner.
A friend is someone who cares for you, be your listener, and be there wherever you are but not a loan shark who kept asking money from you. So losing a friend who does not know how to think because he/she tell the whole world you are a stingy little brat who doesn’t help his/her friend when they need you, is no loss.
Friends are everywhere! Make friends who know how to think.
When he/she grew up, he/she will realise that he/she had lost a great, true friend. Oh haha! Too late! =P

In my case, I would ask my friend why he/she needs the money as he/she had forgotten to bring her allowance.
If he/she faces financial problems, I would tell the teacher to help him/her.
Frankly speaking, hardly anyone borrow money from me or maybe only my close friend borrows money from me. I trust her, not that because she is my close friend, it is because I know her, she would not buy something useless or something she has no need or harmful to her. Most time, she borrows money from me to buy food or stationery and she did return the money to me, so lending her money is no problem. She knows how to think, I know how to think. Everything is fine. =)

Another problem that happens most is copying work. You can see that everyday in school!
I do not deny that I did copy work from my friends.
Ok, that is the past, I do my homework now and those questions I do not know, I would just leave it blank. Haha. At least I do not copy.

I would just lend my homework to my friend because he/she did not do it. Maybe because I’m self-centered, letting my friend copy my work cause no harm to me or maybe it had been already a habit to let my friend copy my work. I do not know. If it is an individual project, I would let him/her look at my product, to let him/her has an idea how to do it. If he/she copies my work, I would definitely be angry and report it to the teacher. That is a great disappointment. You trusted him/her but he/she did not respect you. No one likes other people to take their credits away.
If he/she repent and apologise to me, I would accept his/her apology.
He/she knows that he/she is in the wrong; he/she had learnt his/her lesson, why not forgive him/her, and give him/her a chance.

You suffered yourself under that friend of yours then never let other people suffer the same way. It’s not only beneficial to you yourself but everyone.=)
