Journal Writing 2-Soh Rui Yi [=

Part one:

Who is my best friend in my life? Is like, all those who are close to me, we have either lost contact or left. Maybe they even forget that there is someone called Ruiyi in this world. So actually I don't really have a best friend in my life. Although I put ******** in my blog, I think that is already the past. Now I don't have a best friend in my life.

Although I don't have a best friend, I obviously have friends. Friends of different age, races, gender. But I have friends that really care about me which I am very grateful towards them.

I may not have best friends, but I'm sure that I am able to find them one day (: But I am content that I have friends that care about me. And found someone who is more than best friend to me. Just like brother.

Part two:

1. Character

To me, character is the most important. If the person does not have a good character, what for I make friends with them? Is like some friends just want to be with you because they will benefit. If you didn't give them any benefits, what will they do? Ignore you? Say bad things about you? Tell them a secret, they backstab u? So to me, a friend must be someone who have a good character and of course must be honest.

2. Circumstances

Classmates,teammates,schoolmates are all helpers in your life. As long as we are united as a group, we are able to achieve good result. We need teamwork for projects, we need classmates when we need help in school work. But still, we must not be too dependant towards our friends.

3. Age

To me, I get although pretty well with people of different ages, but I find that it is the best to find friends that is around the age of yours. So that it is much more easier to communicate [=

4. Races

I am totally not a racist person. I mix with people of different races, religion. As long as we get along with each other well, they is no reason why I should not mix with them. I, a Singaporean live in a multi racial country. Just respect one another race and religion. Peace in the country (:

5. Gender

I don't care if he is a guy or she is a girl. I just mix with them. I don't mind telling you all. I get along with guys much more better than girls. * no offences. Although rumors always occur to me. I don't mind that doesn't stop me from being friends with guys (:

Part 3:

Racial Harmony served its purpose. To me, racial harmony is not the day to eat different races food, know about their culture. Although it is important, but I still think that racial harmony is a day where different races come together. Not only Racial Harmony day, but everyday. (:
